{"id":1369,"date":"2019-12-14T11:43:00","date_gmt":"2019-12-14T00:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/aspireapartmentssydney.com.au\/?p=1369"},"modified":"2019-12-14T11:44:02","modified_gmt":"2019-12-14T00:44:02","slug":"important-building-window-washing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aspireapartmentssydney.com.au\/?p=1369","title":{"rendered":"IMPORTANT: Building\/Window Washing"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Commencing Monday next week, 16<sup>th<\/sup>\nDecember 2019, TownView will commence the cleaning of all exterior building\nsurfaces, including glass windows and metal louvres.&nbsp; Work will take all\nof next week and the week after to complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>It is envisaged that the cleaning works will\ntake approx. 2 weeks in total.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This wash will include balconies\nand balustrade glass (both sides), the glass exterior of your balcony\ndoors and balcony area in general.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To\ncarry out window glass and louvre cleaning efficiently, we will require\nthe following from <strong>ALL<\/strong> residents for the duration of the work being carried\nout:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>During the\n     day, &nbsp;please close <strong>ALL<\/strong> windows and balcony doors, tight\n     &#8211; so that water does not penetrate the interior of your residence.<\/li><li>If you are located on\n     the northern side of the building and have adjustable louvres, please open\n     <strong>ALL<\/strong> louvres\n     so that they are open and \u201cflat\u201d horizontally, and not on an angle (ie, So\n     that you can clearly see outside from your apartment \u2013 <strong>DON\u2019T SHUT THEM PLEASE!<\/strong>).&nbsp; This will\n     allow the cleaners to access each side of the louvre and the window, in\n     between the louvres. <strong><em>&nbsp;Note that the eastern facing (Alberta St)\n     louvres are fixed, and do not move or cannot be adjusted.<\/em><\/strong> <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Any residents that do not\nleave their windows closed or louvres open will NOT have\ntheir windows cleaned for another 3-4 months.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, please remove any items from\nyour balcony that could be affected by any overspray from water hosing from adjacent window washing. Alternatively move\nthe items to the rear of the balcony and cover with a plastic sheet if at all\npossible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Remember to close and lock all\nwindows, and if required lower any internal blinds or shut curtains for your\nprivacy.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will endeavour to generate as\nlittle disruption as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For those apartments that face\nthe northern side of the building, if you do not have a louvre handle that\nallows you to open &amp; close your louvres, one can\nbe supplied for you \u2013 Please contact the Building Manager in relation to this\nshould you require a louvre handle via reply to this email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is recommended that Managing\nAgents contact their tenants to ensure that these works go smoothly.&nbsp;\nNotices have been emailed to all residents and Managing Agents on file, placed\nin both lifts, delivered and placed on each apartment\u2019s front door \u2013 as well as\nplaced up on our website ( <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aspireapartmentssydney.com.au\">http:\/\/www.aspireapartmentssydney.com.au<\/a>\n).&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Any questions, please ask.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Commencing Monday next week, 16th December 2019, TownView will commence the cleaning of all exterior building surfaces, including glass windows and metal louvres.&nbsp; Work will take all of next week and the week after to complete.
