Aspire Apartments employs a reliable, unique, modern car parking facility with a fully custom designed and built “Combo”, MasterVario facility, built by Klaus MultiParking (a leading German manufacturer in automated car parking systems), and serviced by OptiPark (as of Sept 24). The facility was installed by the developer when the building was built, and comprises of a car lift, robotic arm, and car stacker system, housing 30 car spaces and 2 large storage units (separate from smaller storage units not located in the car parking facility), assigned to and owned by specific strata lots (apartments). This facility is available for use by permanent residents only – that is owners or tenants that <\/span>RESIDE PERMANENTLY<\/strong> in Aspire Apartments<\/span>, <\/strong>and have a car space\/storage cage assigned –<\/span> as per the City of Sydney <\/span>88b instrument document<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span> relating to zoning laws for the original development approval and building by-laws. <\/span><\/p>\n- \n
- A service and maintenance contract is paid for by the owners of car spaces and the two large storage units, as a special differential annual strata levy.<\/li>\n
- A car space <\/span>CANNOT<\/u> <\/strong>be used by someone that does not reside within the building, such as casual visitors that are not permanent residents.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
- There are <\/span>NO<\/u><\/strong> exceptions to this rule for many compliance (insurance, legal, contractual) and feasibility reasons. <\/span><\/li>\n
- If a resident wishes to lease their car space to another resident within the building, this MUST<\/u><\/strong> go through the Building Manager in the first instance. <\/span><\/li>\n
- There is NO<\/u><\/strong> visitor parking, nor a loading dock located within the building. Wilson Parking has a facility conveniently located next to Aspire Apartments.<\/span><\/li>\n
- There are <\/span>NO<\/span><\/strong> exceptions with car park facility rules for legal, safety, insurance, and service contract agreement reasons.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Bikes are NOT<\/u><\/strong> permitted inside the building under any circumstances. Secure internal storage for bikes is detailed below, and is not part of the automated car parking system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

KPI’s including usage and failures are publicly published (see bottom of this page) and speak to to the reliability of the system. Statistics commenced the first week of 2017, with the latest year of statistics linked at the bottom of this page below.\u00a0 The system runs at approximately a 1.2% failure rate – similar systems average at approximately a 15% failure rate. Aspire has excellent statistics due to proper maintenance and management, and policing of by-laws associated with the system.\u00a0<\/p>\n

All car park system access fobs are the property of the Owners Corporation and MUST<\/strong><\/span> be handed back to building management when moving out of the building. Loss of car park access fobs will incur a cost of approximately $400 to replace.<\/p>\n

It is important to note that if you have a car parking space, or large storage unit assigned to your apartment and intend to use it, an induction session is required to be completed with OptiPark PRIOR<\/span><\/strong> to issue of any car space access fobs, all car park access fobs not in use are held by building management. Smaller storage cages are not held in the car park system, and are located on B1 (only certain lots have a storage cage assigned). The induction request needs to be made to the building manager in the first instance.\u00a0 Approval will then be sent to OptiPark whom will contact you to arrange a suitable day and time.<\/span>
<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n- \n
- Once this the induction request is submitted, the building manager will notify OptiPark to authorise the induction.\u00a0 Once authorised, you will then be contacted by OptiPark so that a suitable day and time can be arranged to complete the induction.\u00a0 If you have not received contact within three days, please contact Aspire Apartments building management to follow up with Optipark direct.<\/li>\n
- Please note that inductees, and their vehicle\/s to be used in the facility MUST<\/u><\/strong> be present for the induction, and it is also the responsibility of the tenant to provide site access to carry out the induction.\u00a0 All inductees must strictly be residents of the building ONLY, and must have completed the new resident process which includes the general building induction given by the building manager.<\/li>\n
- The cost of the induction is borne by the inductee or owner of the car space.<\/li>\n
- Once inducted, you should ALWAYS<\/span> wait for your car to leave the cabin area and disappear from sight, before assuming that your car has successfully entered the system.\u00a0 <\/strong>Failure to do so could result in your car remaining in the car cabin area, placing the building in a compromised security situation, and blocking the cabin for incoming or outgoing access, inconveniencing other residents. Access can be revoked if rules around the system are not adhered to as per building by laws. You should never call your car from the lift, with the intent to retrieve your car later.\u00a0 <\/strong>This also inconveniences others if you get caught up and do not attend to your car right away.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Persons that have NOT<\/u><\/strong> completed the car park induction, run by OptiPark are NOT<\/u><\/strong> authorised or permitted to use the car parking facility. This is a building by-law, and conditions of use of the car parking facility that relates to insurance and service contract reasons. Failure to comply will see access revoked and charges for service call out fees applied.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Should the number not answer, please call again in a few minutes – the service technician may be on the phone to another building.<\/strong><\/p>\nContinuous inconvenience caused to other residents with be dealt with accordingly, and may lead to access being taken away as per building by-laws.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

<\/p>\nNote that there are NO<\/span><\/strong> visitor car parking spaces available at Aspire Apartments – Wilson Parking<\/a><\/strong><\/span> offer casual parking, right next door in Nithsdale Street. The building does not have a loading dock, nor visitor\/trades parking as the property is on a very small land footprint with limitations (hence an automated car parking system is employed as per the development approval).\u00a0<\/p>\n

\nBikes and Scooter Parking<\/h2>\n\n

<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nThere are very limited external bike and scooter parking spaces at the rear of the building, and limited vertical bike storage racks located internally in the building (seven in total). These vertical bike racks are in place for permanent residents ONLY,<\/strong> and pre-registration with the building manager is required PRIOR<\/strong> to using them. These spaces are offered on a first come, first served basis – and are assigned as a privilege, not a right.<\/strong> Failure to pre-register prior to using them will mean that the motorcycle\/bike will be locked with a chain, evoking a $50 release fee. As per building by-laws, bikes are NOT permitted inside the building traversing through common areas, other than through the rear commercial entrance and down the stairs to B1 where the Owners Corporation have installed a limited number of vertical bike racks at their expense for use. There are absolutely NO exceptions to this building by-law.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
