ANNUAL FIRE SAFETY INSPECTION – 2021 – Please see attached notice from DA Fire in regards to the inspection and Covid-19
That time of year has arrived again, whereby we need to conduct our annual fire safety inspection. This inspection and report is required to be carried out each year, by law, for the safety of all residents.
As part of your ownership or lease agreement, access must be provided to carry out compliance works in relation to NSW Law.
The last four years, we have had 100% access and compliance. The Owners Corporation appreciate your assistance on keeping this up.
The inspection will occur on Monday, May 31st 2021, commencing at 7am and running through to 11am.
Each apartment will take 5 minutes to complete. Testing of the thermal detector located on the ceiling at the inside of the front door of each apartment, and smoke detector/s testing and annual replacement of the 9 volt backup battery.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU DO NOT EVER NEED TO CHANGE THE SMOKE DETECTOR BATTERY, AS THE OWNERS CORPORATION PROACTIVELY DO THIS AS PART OF THE ANNUAL TEST EACH YEAR.

The early bird catches the worm, as they say! I suggest not leaving this till last minute – to avoid disappointment! Please don’t be the one that I need to chase up to make your appointment!
Note that if an apartment does not grant access on the day, a revisit fee of $215 per apartment will apply for the fire contractors to re-attend on another day.
This fee will be passed onto the resident for payment.Pages:
